Note: I’ll update the snap counts in this spreadsheet all season including the first tab tracking the season totals. While I’ll paste individual game PT in each week’s recap, I’ll likely refer to the season totals moving forward from that link. So uh, peep it.

The Los Angeles Rams headed up north for Week 3 to take on the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football, and man was it a hell of game. Sure, we won 41-39, but we didn’t come away unscathed

Here’s how the playing time looked.

Offense

Week 3 at 49ers - Offense

Player POS Off Off%
Player POS Off Off%
Andrew Whitworth OT 67 100.00%
Rodger Saffold G 67 100.00%
Rob Havenstein OT 67 100.00%
Jamon Brown G 67 100.00%
Jared Goff QB 67 100.00%
Todd Gurley RB 63 94.03%
Robert Woods WR 62 92.54%
Tyler Higbee TE 61 91.04%
Sammy Watkins WR 44 65.67%
Cooper Kupp WR 40 59.70%
Austin Blythe C 36 53.73%
John Sullivan C 31 46.27%
Derek Carrier TE 24 35.82%
Tavon Austin WR 15 22.39%
Gerald Everett TE 11 16.42%
Pharoh Cooper WR 9 13.43%
Josh Reynolds WR 6 8.96%

C John Sullivan got injured early in the third quarter opening the door for C Austin Blythe to pick up some valuable time.

At tight end, things were a bit skewed with TE Gerald Everett still not at 100% after the injury he suffered in Week 2. That meant TE Tyler Higbee topped the 90% mark with Everett coming in with just 11 snaps while TE Derek Carrier more than doubled that.

WR Tavon Austin topped 20% for the first time this season. Not sure how much of that was skewed by WR Sammy Watkins missing time.

Dominique Hatfield CB 1 1.22%

Without CB Kayvon Webster who was inactive with a shoulder injury, CB Nickell Robey-Coleman got his work while CB Troy Hill found backup work in reserve after coming off of his two-game suspension.

Another game near the 50% line for OLB Robert Quinn. Worth noting after a night where the Rams struggled to generate a reliable, consistent pass rush.

And the injury to DB Lamarcus Joyner gave S Cody Davis a ton of work at the back of the secondary.

The only real big change this week was with RB Malcolm Brown, it was Carrier who picked up his work on teams.

Starting to get a good baseline overall for the team. We’ll have to see how the injury report looks on Wednesday as we could be in for some major shifts in playing time in Week 4 based on injuries as the Rams gear up to travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys.
