We are back for another great show. This week Joe (@3k_) and myself (@MightyOrMisone) recap the Los Angeles Rams’ first loss of the season in Week 2 of the 2017 season.
We start off discussing Rams HC Sean McVay and him finally looking like a rookie head man from the little things to bigger issues to how he handled the post-game press conference. There was so much to take from it all.
Next, we follow that up with the run defense. The Rams showed me last week against Indianapolis Colts what we had to look forward to this year so I was a bit less surprised. Still, it was ugly and we take time to review the upcoming running back schedule to face and highlight how important it is to get this corrected. There's a tough road looming and this Achilles heel that is the run defense can really hold this team back.
From there we dive right into QB Jared Goff and his performance. Sort of a mixed bag, but more than anything a reminder he still has a long way to go. But so far, we are satisfied with the improvement.
Did RB Todd Gurley deliver one of the top touchdowns of the 2017 season already? Its highly possible....
Gurley had his best game in two years, but Joe makes a great point in asking, was it enough, though? You will not want to miss this part of the discussion.
We get pretty deep into draft talk and we are only just pass week two. Preparing for Armageddon much???
Get this Joe took a negative and made it into a positive. Mr. #TooNegative himself flipped the script on the world. It made me very uncomfortable.
Also, I have arachnophobia and I share a story from the weekend you will not want to miss, I'm not always thirsty, but when I am, I am the most interesting man alive....
