There is no shortage of candidates for this week’s game ball. Michael Brockers balled out. Cooper Kupp lived up to the hype. Lamarcus Joyner had a pick six and two passes defensed. But the three choices below were clearly deserving above the rest.
QB Jared Goff
That’s the performance you expect from a #1 Overall pick. Sean McVay and Matt LaFleur did an outstanding job coaching Goff up and getting him ready for this game. Goff had an outstanding game, setting career highs in every major category - not that it was difficult to surpass his Fisher-ball output.

You couldn’t ask for a better day from your shutdown corner. Now someone tell the Rams to pull their heads out of their asses and actually work out a long term deal for Tru.
HC Sean McVay
Say what you will about the Colts being undermanned, but the Rams came to PLAY. They exploited matchups on offense, dominated on defense, and didn’t play down to the level of their opponent as was common when Jeff Fisher was coach.
