After a one-day break, 2017 Los Angeles Rams Training Camp is back. With a joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers scheduled tomorrow at the StubHub Center in Carson at 4:30pm PT, today’s the only day to install anything new Head Coach Sean McVay, new Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips and new Offensive Coordinator Matt LaFleur want to try out against their crosstown “rivals” (Can we even say that yet? I feel like we can’t but we might as well.).
DE Dominique Easley is gone for the season. FB Zach Laskey was waived. RB Lance Dunbar is still out. Hopefully the team rested up well yesterday and doesn’t have anyone in the injury “red zone” as some teams designate guys that are in that range where injuries are more likely.
How much contact does McVay want to get in today? It’s the last day before dealing with the Chargers, so you want, for example, the offensive line running close to full speed. But there’s a fine line to walk there, and that’s what the staff, coaching and training, get paid to feel out.

Should DE Aaron Donald’s holdout continue into the weekend, how will the Rams line up up front? Our sibling site Bolts from the Blue will be at the StubHub Center to fill us in on the goings on with the practice closed to Rams fans.
Feel free to hit us up on Twitter or Instagram with any updates if you’re at camp today.
