Earlier today we posted this article, which highlighted a few negative comments aimed towards Los Angeles Rams’ head coach Sean McVay. Despite everything that’s been said about him both personally and professionally prior to even being hired, former Rams’ coach Mike Martz and Fox Sports’ Jason Whitlock think the Rams hired “a buddy” for Jared Goff...a “12 year old boy,” according to Whitlock.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter, who’s a huge fan of Turf Show Times (maybe?), had this to say in regards to Martz’s comments:
I’m a Mike Martz fan. Saying that, I think he’s way off base about Sean McVay. I don’t think the Rams hired “a buddy for Jared Goff.” I think they hired somebody who is one of the brightest young offensive minds in the game. Somebody who is going to be a star, whether he succeeds in coaching or one day goes into broadcasting. And I think we’ve already got to see Sean McVay’s contributions in Jared Goff’s first game out.
Schefter goes on to say “that sounds like somebody who’s grumpy.” You tell him, big fella.
You can see the entire clip from this morning’s Mike and Mike show right....here.
