Higbee and Spruce just attempted to get Gurley with a water bucket. 30 put a move on and dodged it. "You can't catch me. I'm too fast," TG

The Rams were clearly trying to not get demoralized by losing DE Dominique Easley for the season.
Quick Rams nuggets-- Goff has good chemistry with both young TEs. Trumaine Johnson had good day (nice pbu vs Kupp). Wade Phillips is a stud.
— Daniel Jeremiah (@MoveTheSticks) August 3, 2017
Best nugget here is Goff forging chemistry with his TEs.
Injuries
Tavon Austin and Samson Ebukam missed practice with hamstring injuries. Robert Quinn was out with a pre-excused, non-injury absence.
— Rich Hammond (@Rich_Hammond) August 3, 2017
This is..... not good. Hopefully sitting Tavon is more of a precaution than something that lingers. He can’t afford to miss time this year. Ebukam being out further hampers the defense while it was a relief to hear that Quinn’s absence wasn’t due to an injury.

Will Sam Rogers replace Cory Harkey? Hard to say at this point, but his work ethic is turning heads at Rams camp.

#Rams OT @awhitworth77 on Goff's growth: You can just see in this offense he is comfortable. pic.twitter.com/j8QHhY83Ev

New Rams LT Andrew Whitworth seems impressed with his new QB.
#Rams coach Sean McVay was pleased with Jared Goff's work in burry up, spread it out three-minute offense drill to end practice
— Vincent Bonsignore (@DailyNewsVinny) August 2, 2017
Goff has long been known to be more comfortable in the shotgun, so it’s not much of a surprise to see him excelling in that aspect of McVay’s offense.
Hands on @TG3II look pretty solid to me. #RamsCamp pic.twitter.com/g3eZlSfP29

Gurley showing off his pass catching skills. McVay is surely going to be utilizing him more in the pass game than Fisher did.

Gotta believe that was somewhat of a motivational speech after the DL lost Dominique Easley for the year yesterday.
Your #Rams No.1 defensive line, for the moment: Trinca-Pasat (steps in for Dom Easley), Brockers, Westbrooks. #RamsCamp
— J.B. Long (@JB_Long) August 2, 2017
Speaking of the DL, seems like Louis Trinca-Pasat is getting the first shot to replace Easley.
Cornerback Troy Hill just covered receiver Nelson Spruce during first team 11 on 11s. #805
— Joe Curley (@vcsjoecurley) August 2, 2017
File this under.... odd. Neither of those players should be playing with the 1s.
Nice PBU from Tru Johnson on a deep 'in' route from Kupp in 11-on-11. 18 went up to grab it, had it in his hands, and 22 just ripped it out.
— Myles Simmons (@MylesASimmons) August 2, 2017
Rookie, meet Pro-Bowler. Good to see Tru is putting in 110% this early in camp.

The DBs know that they are fighting for their future with the Rams. With luck, the Rams will be able to reap the benefits of that competition once the regular season kicks off.
