Austin, Barron, Ebukam, Grigsby, Donnal, Quinn, Webster, Robey-Coleman, Jordan, Price Out For Rams-Cowboys

The Rams have 10 players out tonight, just like preseason Game 1. Complicating things? It’s not the same 10 players.

A week ago against the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Rams left 10 players inactive (though it was actually nine as CB Lamarcus Joyner had been reported inactive but made a key stop in the first quarter).

Tonight in Game 2 against the Oakland Raiders, the Rams have 10 players out again...albeit a different 10:

  • WR Tavon Austin
  • S Mark Barron
  • OT Andrew Donnal
  • OLB Samson Ebukam
  • LB Nic Grigsby
  • CB Mike Jordan
  • OLB Ejuan Price
  • OLB Robert Quinn
  • CB Nickell Robey-Coleman
  • CB Kayvon Webster

The changes? Jordan, Price, Robey-Coleman, Webster are newly added to the list while RB Aaron Green, Joyner WR Josh Reynolds and WR Mike Thomas, will be available.

It leaves the Rams very thin at OLB and CB, so there will be some interesting rotation at both spots for Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips. He can push starters like OLB Connor Barwin and CB Trumaine Johnson, or he can get extended work for the depth fighting for a roster spot

Should be an interesting factor to look at all week.
