Turf Show Times is dedicated to bringing you fresh and timely content from a variety of voices and perspectives. Our staff and contributors are diverse, thoughtful, passionate and located on this Earth.

With the sheer volume of hourly content popping up on the Los Angeles Rams, we are looking to add some new energetic, Rams-obsessed fans to the TST staff. The day to day activities of a news desk contributor would include (but are not limited to):

• Rapid and accurate content generation based on publicly available Rams updates. These include concise articles and timely knowledge-sharing with our viewership.
• Active participation in the Turf Show Times Slack room, where our staff compiles daily stories and breaking news (and just talks about random stuff, honestly, like Sosa’s grandma’s tattoos and what cheese/beer/horrible meals Brandon Bate is getting into)
• “Ears to the ground” beat writing, in which developing or breaking news is actively sought and reported upon.
• Availability to generate content on short notice (within an hour of news breaking).
• Previous writing experience is preferred but not required for this position.

Initially, this would be an unpaid role but could potentially develop into a funded gig as the site continues to expand.
