Back on June 10, the Los Angeles Rams signed the first three picks of their 2017 NFL Draft class in TE Gerald Everett, WR Cooper Kupp and S John Johnson.
Now, they’ve signed the rest of their class in WR Josh Reynolds, OLB Samson Ebukam, DT Tanzel Smart, FB Sam Rogers and OLB Ejuan Price.
It’s an interesting group for first-year Head Coach Sean McVay. The Day 3 haul gives him an outside WR option to tinker with in Reynolds and the little beastball in Rogers. I’ll be very interested to see what chances Brandon and Misone give those two when they write up their roster previews. Perhaps more interestingly, to me at least, are the two pass rushers in Ebukam and Price. With two starters in Robert Quinn and Connor Barwin who have serious question marks on their backs for 2017, the depth at OLB is going to be a huge story in training camp and throughout the preseason action.
At least in terms of contractual readiness, the Rams are now loaded up for the 2017 season.
