With training camp less than 40 days away, the Los Angeles Rams have made a spate of roster transactions today.
After we caught the news that C Demetrius Rhaney was being released, the team just announced that WR Marquez North, ILB Reggie Northrup and OLB Teidrick Smith were all being waived as well.
WR Marquez North
North joined the Rams as a rookie UDFA immediately following the 2016 NFL Draft but was part of the cuts to get down to a 75-man roster in late August before being moved to the reserve/injured list keeping him a Ram.
ILB Reggie Northrup
Northrup initially signed with Washington Football Group, Inc. as a 2016 rookie UDFA. The Rams added him to their practice squad in mid-December and signed him to a Reserve/Futures deal not long after.
OLB/DE Teidrick Smith
Smith was part of the trio of rookie UDFAs the Rams signed following rookie minicamp back in mid-May.
