The Los Angeles Rams have traded down with the Chicago Bears in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
The terms of the deal sends #112 to the Bears in return for #117 and an additional sixth-round pick at #197.
It’s trade no. one billionty-thirteen under General Manager Les Snead. We know the MO. The question is now who the Rams can throw in the mix of training camp with those picks.
The main goal for the 2017 season under new Head Coach Sean McVay is to assess the personnel he’s been handed from the Jeff Fisher era and decide who among them, if any, he wants to keep long-term. Adding more Day 3 guys and UDFAs allows him to potentially squeeze out the back end of the 2016 roster to isolate those assessments to the top of the roster in guys like OLB Robert Quinn, WR Tavon Austin and more.
