Per Yahoo! Sports’ Charles Robinson, it sounds like Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt is about to land a very nice payday when he hits free agency on Thursday:
Multiple #NFL sources are expecting the next free agent contract of #Rams wideout Kenny Britt to land between $6-$8 million per season.

That’s in line with his last two-year contract with the Rams. Coming off of his strongest professional season, it’s certainly warranted.
Britt hit career highs in targets, receptions and receiving yards in 2016 though he had to do so across two starting QBs with Case Keenum and Jared Goff, the former of whom he had more success with.
While Britt is certainly headed toward a new team as Rams General Manager Les Snead suggested at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine, it’s still important to Rams fans to see this market take shape.
Consider what the market is looking like for some other WRs:
Multiple #NFL sources are expecting the next contract of #Browns wideout Terrelle Pryor to land between $10-$12 million per season.

Multiple #NFL sources are expecting the free agent contract of #Cowboys wideout Terrance Williams to land between $6-$8 million per season.

Multiple #NFL sources are expecting the next free agent contract of #Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery to exceed $10 million per season.

With the Rams set to make some additions on the offensive side, Britt’s contract (along with those others) will set the bar for market prices in 2017.
Legal tampering begins tomorrow at noon; the market opens at 4pm ET on Thursday.
Get ready, Rams fans...
