Fresh off their last late night extravaganza, the Rams have finally started making moves in the day time. This time, they’re looking to bring in former Philadelphia Eagles LB Connor Barwin:
LB Connor Barwin will meet with Rams on Wednesday, person with knowledge of situation said.

Barwin is a seven year veteran who started his career with the Texans before moving to the Eagles. He has 49.5 sacks throughout his career, and hit 10+ in both 2011 (11.5) and 2014 (14.5). Last year, he notched 5.0 sacks.
With the switch to the 3-4 underway, the Rams have a need for pass rushing depth. A veteran like Barwin could provide the Rams with a viable threat with experience in the scheme Phillips runs, since they worked together in Houston.
With the Rams failing to meet with Jarvis Jones and also failing to convince DeMarcus Ware that playing for the Rams was better than retirement, the team might find that third time’s the charm with Barwin.
