Earlier today before I went to sleep and my brain was working operatively, we passed on the news that the Los Angeles Rams were releasing C Tim Barnes.
Now after having fallen asleep and woken up in the middle of the night, I can pass on this tweet from friend of TST Rich Hammond that the Rams are releasing both TE Lance Kendricks and DE Eugene Sims to boot:
Rams released TE Lance Kendricks, DL Eugene Sims and, as previously noted, C Tim Barnes today, per team source.

Kendricks was a second-round pick for the Rams in the 2011 NFL Draft.
Sims was a sixth-round pick for the Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft.
The Rams decided it was better not to have a winning season after drafting either. Following many seasons, both made much money and lots of words were typed.
As I pointed out about a month ago, both were potential/likely cap casualties. Good for the internet.
I look forward to coffee tomorrow. Stay tuned to TST Overnight for more important coverage.
