The Sporting News’ Alex Marvez is reporting the Los Angeles Rams are set to hire Green Bay Packers Defensive Quality Control Coach Ejiro Evero to take on the DB Coach slot on the staff in LA under new Head Coach Sean McVay:
Source tells @sn_nfl that Ejiro Evaro expected to leave @packers defensive staff to become @RamsNFL DBs cosvh

Evero has been in NFL circles since joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ staff in 2007. A three-year run in Tampa preceded five years on the San Francisco 49ers’ staff before joining Green Bay in 2016.
This report conflicts with news earlier this week that Aubrey Pleasant was reported to be brought on as the DB Coach himself after working with McVay on the Washington Football Team’s coaching staff. Perhaps either Evero or Pleasant is taking a position that isn’t directly going to be listed as a DB Coach. Evero’s history as a defensive quality control coach might suggest he’ll be the one to take on an otherwise worded position.
More to come this week on the Rams’ building out their first coaching staff in the post-Jeff Fisher era.
