Entering week 14, injuries around the league are starting to compile, and the Los Angeles Rams are no different. With ILB Alec Ogletree questionable for the game, and OLB Connor Barwin doubtful, the Rams have made a roster move in correspondence:

The Rams return a familiar face in Cameron Lynch, who entered the NFL with the Rams back in 2015 as an undrafted free agent. Lynch spent his rookie season as a strong special teamer with the Rams, though he was waived in 2016, and spent the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In a corresponding move, the Rams waived backup CB Dominique Hatfield to open a spot for Lynch. Hatfield has recently been injured, and was doubtful to play in week 14 regardless. Hatfield was pressed into duty by injury in week 11 vs the Minnesota Vikings, and it was not pretty. Hatfield was toasted on a hook route by WR Adam Thielen for a 65-yard touchdown. This move wont necessarily hurt the Rams, as they have combo CB/S’s in Lamarcus Joyner and Blake Countess, who allow Wade Phillips to play them as chess pieces in the backend if needed.
