The Los Angeles Rams head to Phoenix to face a banged up Arizona Cardinals team in week 13. For all intents and purposes, this is quite a big match-up for both teams, as the Rams look to grab another divisional win and head towards securing a playoff spot, meanwhile the Cardinals are trying to keep their season afloat. Let’s take a look at the inactives:
Rams:
- QB Brandon Allen
- WR Robert Woods
- RB Justin Davis
- RB Malcolm Brown
- CB Kevin Peterson
- OT Cornelius Lucas
- OLB Connor Barwin
No real surprises here. Starters Robert Woods and Connor Barwin are out, as expected. Backup RB Malcolm Brown will be held out another week, but a return could come soon. This means that RB Lance Dunbar is active, and will likely serve as Todd Gurley’s primary backup. Expect to see a lot of Josh Reynolds as well, with Robert Woods remaining sidelined. Also, recent call-up from the practice squad, OLB Carlos Thompson, is active.
Cardinals:
- QB Matt Barkley
- WR John Brown
- WR Carlton Agudosi
- RB Adrian Peterson
- S Rudy Ford
- LB Deone Bucannon
- DL Corey Peters
There aren’t any real surprises here either. RB Adrian Peterson headlines the group, though it sounded quite likely during the week that he wouldn’t be available. Expect to see Kerwynn Williams as the Cardinals RB. The remaining key inactives (John Brown, Corey Peters, Deone Buccanon) were all ruled out earlier in the week.
Game on.
