Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley had a monster game in Week 15 helping the Rams destroy the Seattle Seahawks, 42-7. As a result, the accolades are pouring in.
We learned last night Gurley has been named to the 2018 Pro Bowl NFC roster. Today, it was announced that Gurley has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 15, the second time he’s picked it up this season.
But Gurley’s also up for the NFL’s FedEx Ground Player of the Week award for Week 15 and he needs your vote.
It’s only Gurley’s second time in the running for the award. He was in the mix in Week 3 after running for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ thrilling 41-39 win over the San Francisco 49ers, though the award went to Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt. This week, Gurley had his best game on the ground racking up 152 yards on 21 carries with three touchdowns.
Here’s who he’s up against:
- Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt: A strong candidate for Rookie of the Year, Hunt had his sixth 100-yard game with 155 yards and his sixth touchdown of the year in the Chiefs’ season-saving win over the Los Angeles Chargers, 30-13
- Denver Broncos RB C.J. Anderson: The fifth-year Bronco was a workhorse in Week 15 with 30 carries for 158 yards helping Denver top the Indianapolis Colts, 25-13
So go hook up JTG with your vote, Rams fans!
