Los Angeles Rams playoff clinching scenarios for Week 16

The Los Angeles Rams have all but clinched a playoff spot entering Week 16. There are three ways for the Rams to clinch a spot in the postseason (I can’t believe it as I type it).

Considering the three avenues the Rams could make the playoffs:

1. The Rams could clinch the division with a victory or tie against the Tennessee Titans who just lost to the San Francisco 49ers. The Rams will likely play their Week 16 with a “business as usual” mindset as they kick off before the Seattle Seahawks game.
2. The Rams could clinch the division with a loss if the Seahawks lose or tie the Dallas Cowboys. The Seahawks game is an afternoon kickoff. Either way, the Seahawks and Cowboys are both fighting for chance to be a wildcard team so this is a bit more unlikely than scenario 1.
3. The Rams clinch a spot with the Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers, and Atlanta Falcons losing. This scenario is very unlikely as all three teams are vying for the wildcard or even division crown.

Basically, the Rams control their own destiny and a victory gets them in. Who could have foreseen the Rams making the playoffs at the beginning of the year, besides our very own professor who predicted a 16-0 season.
