Go back 10 months. Who thought they'd see this coming?
In a blowout win against the New York Giants, Goff finished the game going 14 of 22 for 311 yards and four touchdowns. The best part of his stat line? No turnovers.
In what can only be described as one of the best turnarounds in recent NFL memory, Goff — and the Rams as a whole — is clicking on all cylinders. Now sitting pretty at the top of the NFC West at 6-2, the Rams appear poised to make the playoffs for the first time since 2006, and Goff has played as big a role in that as anyone.
Stay tuned as the Rams have the opportunity to pull off some convincing wins to only aide the possibility of more accolades to come Goff's way as well as his teammates. Currently on pace for 4,060 yards, 26 touchdowns, and only eight interceptions — plus a legit shot to lead the league in average ypa after having one of the lowest in NFL history — Goff has a real possibility to win comeback player of the year.
Going to be an interesting eight weeks.
Congratulations, Jared!
