Los Angeles Rams QB Jared Goff, WR Cooper Kupp up for NFL weekly awards

The Los Angeles Rams delivered a huge win in Week 12 topping the New Orleans Saints, 26-20. In doing so, the performance of QB Jared Goff and WR Cooper Kupp have them up for the NFL’s major weekly awards.

Goff is up for the Week 12 FedEx Air Player of the Week against:

• Los Angeles Chargers QB Philip Rivers: Rivers threw for 434 yards and three TDs with just six incompletions in his 33 attempts leading the Chargers to a major Thanksgiving Day win over the Dallas Cowboys, 28-6
• Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger: Big Ben tossed four touchdowns racking up 351 yards as Pittsburgh kicked a game-winning field goal as time expired to win, 31-28

Goff is also in the mix for the Week 12 Castrol EDGE Clutch Performer of the Week against:

• Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Bryant: Logged 10 catches for 169 yards and two touchdowns in the Steelers’ win, but it was his perfect toe tapping on a 23-yard catch that helped get the Steelers in position to win that served as the cherry on this sundae

• Washington Rookie Employers RB Samaje Perine: Hit his second consecutive game with triple digit rushing yards to help Washington top the New York Giants, 20-10
• Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett: Sacked Bengals QB Andy Dalton for his fifth sack of 2017
