Turf Show Radio S9E20: Listener call-in special

This week we opened the lines to callers and boy oh boy did we have a blast.

This week Misone (@MightyOrMisone) and Joe (@3k_) opened up the lines for the callers, and the results were amazing.

The best part of having shows like this is seeing where all the Los Angeles Rams fans are at. We had calls from all over, literally coast to coast and top to bottom. From DC to Seattle, and Florida to Montana. The best part of the show was the high spirits guys had when calling in. The excitement is real for Rams fans, and you have to love it. So many have stood strong through a lot of very hard years, and now there’s a feeling of that loyalty paying off.

The callers helped us recap the game as Rams defeated the New Orleans Saints on their way to guaranteeing they will avoid a losing season for the first time since 2006. The most interesting part of the game, is that the score is actually a bit misleading. The game was dominated by the Rams from start to finish. And if you remove the only good run from Saints RB Alvin Kamara – which was a 74 yard run to the house – the team held the NFL’s best rushing attack to 16 rushes for 49 yards as. one of the NFL greatest passers of all time, QB Drew Brees, was held to under 100 yards passing entering the fourth quarter, and didn’t reach the end zone until 1:45 left in the fourth quarter. This was all against the NFL’s number one offense.

We ended the show with our main man Rob calling in, you might know him as @seattlerams_nfl. He helped us close out the show, and what to look forward to when the Rams take on the Arizon Cardinals this Sunday. We discussed who we think will draw the coverage of Cards CB Patrick Peterson, as well as can/will the Rams be able to shut down RB Adrian Peterson again.

It was truly a good show that was very fun, and I am looking forward to opening the lines again in the future. Thank you all for calling in and taking the show to the next level!
