Los Angeles Rams vs Minnesota Vikings: Revisiting matchups to watch

The Los Angeles Rams were Sobered last weekend by the Minnesota Vikings. Let’s take a look back at the matchups to watch and see where things went wrong.

Vikings Receivers vs Rams Secondary

The Vikings dominated this matchup, but with a caveat. The Rams lost two of their top three corners early on in the game and never recovered. Case Keenum got his retribution by picking on Dominique Hatfield and Blake Countess.

Alec Ogletree and Mark Barron vs Everyone

The Rams highly paid ILB duo struggled mightily last weekend. The Vikings had over 170 yards rushing and abused the middle of the Rams defense for most of the game. Also, the pair didn’t come away with any QB pressures despite multiple blitzes by both players.

These two need to step it up big time if the Rams are going anywhere in the playoffs this season.

John Fassel vs Creativity

Fassel’s hands were tied for most of the game due to bad field position. Though with the offense struggling, I felt that one of Fassel’s fakes would have jump started things a bit for the Rams.
