This week Joe (@3k_) and I (@MightyOrMisone) took time out to really dive into some listener questions, after the Los Angeles Rams’ devastating Week 11 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

First, we recapped the loss taking a look at where they went wrong. The immediate reaction is this was more on coaching than the player, which was a bit of a surprise overall. A couple of drops, and a fumble from WR Cooper Kupp on the Vikings’ one-yard line certainly didn’t help the situation. However at the end of the day, HC Sean McVay got away from the things that have worked best for him, and that stood out.

Next, the discussion made its way to the interesting comments made by LT Andrew Whitworth in regards to the team needing some adversity. Whit’s comments took place after the loss in the locker room, and Joe and I discuss in great detail whether or not his comments were a good thing and what might have been the cause for the comments to begin with. This was one of my personal favorite parts of the show.

From there, we talk about what alarms us most about the defense. This was some interesting stuff as we were definitely on opposite ends of the spectrum, and my answer even to some degree shocked Joe a bit.

We finished up the looking ahead to the New Orleans Saints game in Week 12. This game scares me a lot, and I explain why.

Then we got into the listener questions which created some great topics to discuss. You guys nailed it with some of those, and they were greatly appreciated. I wanted to really take some time to get into those for two reasons; one you guys delivered awesome questions, and two it’s a great leeway to next week’s show.

Next week we are going to open up the lines for you all to call in and talk Rams football. More on that to come later this week.

Enjoy!
