Los Angeles Rams at Minnesota Vikings: Final injury report leaves LA looking strong on the road

All things considered, it’s a very fortunate injury report for the Rams in Week 11.

The Los Angeles Rams are heading to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, and yet again we’re looking incredibly fortunate on the injury front:

The sheer quantity of names on the initial injury report on Wednesday was cause for concern, so to come out of it with just three names with official game status designation is pretty fortuitous. That those three names are a reserve cornerback, the TE3 and the backup running back is beyond just good fortune. It is probably worth considering now how long RB Malcolm Brown will be out with his MCL injury. With the Rams headed into these huge final seven games of the regular season, backup running back might become a bigger factor than it was last week when RB Lance Dunbar played just 10 snaps.

As for Minnesota, here’s their side:

The upcoming decision on DE Everson Griffen is going to be a huge one. And with DE Brian Robison facing a similar gameday decision, there’s some real potential for an issue at the position there for Minnesota.

Moreover, the injuries to starting RT Mike Remmers and starting SS Andrew Sendejo mean some promotion from the backups. I’ll keep an eye on Daily Norseman and update this story with their reactions when they post.
