Going 4/4 on FG’s in a week (as well as 3/3 on XP’s) typically represents a terrific week for a kicker, and the NFL league office has taken notice awarding Los Angeles Rams Kicker Greg Zuerlein with his second NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
Congratulations to GZ for being named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week!

GZ is no stranger to awards this season, as he already scooped the NFC ST Player of the Week award for Week 4 as well as the NFC ST’s Player of the Month award for October.
You can’t say Greg doesn’t deserve the accolades, because he’s simply been playing out of his mind. GZ is currently 28/29 on FG’s (96.6% rate), and 30/30 on XP’s (100%). Not only that, but he’s currently leading the league in total points scored at 114, currently ahead of second place with a 23-point lead. If that wasn’t enough, the highest scoring season from a K ever was David Akers in 2011 with 166 points, and Greg Zuerlein is currently on pace for 203 points not only eclipsing that mark but also eclipsing the highest scoring single season ever (LaDanian Tomlinson - 186 points, 2006).
Do your service as a Rams fan, and go vote (not only) GZ into the pro-bowl, but all the other deserving players as well:
