2017 Los Angeles Rams final statistical projections

New, comments

Since the Rams have played a full eight games which marks half of the season, Misone put together where he projects 12 Rams to finish statistically.

Currently the 2017 Los Angeles Rams are off to their best start in 11 seasons which means statistically players are having — at the very least — some solid overall production.

Now that the Rams have played half of the season, I thought it'd be fun to try and project where players final stat lines will end up after a full 16 games has been played.

One thing to point out; I expect the team overall to continue to get better as the season goes on as they have done from week to week so far. However, I do feel some production will drop for some players, evident by the projections above, but I believe no more than three losses in the second half of the season could happen "at the most". Still, a legitimate 13-3 record seems to be 100% feasible.

Two interesting stats:

The NFL record for most field goals made in a season is 44. Currently, K Greg Zuerlein is on pace for 48 made. Obviously I project both Zuerlein and P Johnny Hekker to each make the Pro Bowl and both be named first team All-Pro, which would give the Rams four on the season. The last time the Rams had four first team All-Pro players in one year was the 2001 season — when they had six, it just wasn't fair was it? — which also happens to be the last time the Rams made it to the Super Bowl.
