The Los Angeles Rams lost a self-inflicted wound of a game 10-16 to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5, with many fans looking at various players to assign blame to.
One of those players? WR Sammy Watkins.
When the Rams traded their 2018 NFL Draft second-round pick along with CB E.J. Gaines to the Buffalo Bills for Watkins and a sixth-round pick next spring, we rightly discussed that perhaps the greatest value he provided was that his addition meant that recent free agent addition WR Robert Woods and rookie WR Cooper Kupp wouldn’t be forced into WR1 and WR2 duties, respectively. But many fans thought that Watkins would bring along WR1 production.
He hasn’t.
And tonight he responded.
In response to a tweet from former Rams WR Torry Holt, Watkins cryptically suggested that “something” was at the root of his lack of production:
Something gotta be going on

Your guess is as good as mine.
But clearly, Watkins is suggesting that there is indeed something to be guessed at.
(UPDATED at 11:40pm ET)
Not much of a response from Torry, but a response nonetheless...
