Todd Gurley, Greg Zuerlein Earn NFC Player of the Week Honors

The accolades keep rolling in for the Rams as they force their way into the national conversation

A pair of Los Angeles Rams players earned some accolades following the Rams 35-30 come from behind victory against the Dallas Cowboys. Greg Zuerlein and Todd Gurley both earned player of the week honors for their part in Sunday’s win.

Todd Gurley is having one helluva comeback season. Roughly a week after being named the NFC offensive player of the month for the month of September, Gurley’s dominating performance against the Cowboys earned him NFC player of the week honors.

Greg Zuerlein is similarly dominating. He made all 9 kicks on Sunday and set a Rams record with seven field goals made. Don’t look now, but special teams coordinator John Fassel may have two All-Pros this season.

The awards serve as proof that the Rams have earned their share of the spotlight after a surprise 3-1 start. If their hot start doesn’t fizzle, the Rams may bring home some end of season hardware as well.
