Los Angeles Rams Vs. Arizona Cardinals: Intermediate Injury Report Keeps Eyes On LB Mark Barron, S Cody Davis

The Los Angeles Rams are heading to London to take on the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, and the concern for two defensive starters laid out in yesterday’s initial injury report have only solidified today:

The three older Rams match their regular participation; C John Sullivan is normally a partial participant on Thursdays, so don’t let that throw you off.

The focus remains on LB Mark Barron and S Cody Davis. With S Maurice Alexander released 10 days ago and S John Johnson aka Johnny John Jon Johnson Johnstone already in the starting lineup, it would make for an interesting decision if DB Lamarcus Joyner can’t go 100% for the entire game coming off of a three-game absence between the two likely candidates of S Marqui Christian or DB Blake Countess. As for Barron, it’d either be LB Bryce Hager or LB Cory Littleton. Given Littleton’s value on special teams, it might be easiest to let Hager supplant Barron on defense to maximize Littleton’s teams’ value; otherwise, you get Littleton at ILB and need to give his special teams snaps away. Decisions, decisions.

If RB Andre Ellington can’t go, it’s likely just more from RB Adrian Peterson with a sprinkling of RB Kerwynn Williams.
