LA Rams Senior Bowl Day 1 Meetings

Here’s who the Rams were talking to in Mobile on Tuesday.

The 2017 Senior Bowl is underway, and with it the first reports of staff members of the Los Angeles Rams meeting with the more than 100 2017 NFL Draft prospects in attendance.

Here are the three prospects that we know the Rams met with yesterday:

South Alabama TE Gerald Everett

Everett was listed on Rotoworld’s Josh Norris’ Top 25 Senior Bowl Attendees (which we covered on Monday) at #18. He’s a solid passing game target with some questions about his technique as a former basketball player who played just one season of HS football. His kickstart to 2016, featuring on the game-winning drive for South Alabama over Mississippi St., was top billing. He’s already a top prospect with arguably the highest ceiling by quite a margin, but a third drafted tight end in two years?

Wisconsin OLB Vince Biegel

I mentioned Biegel in the position look on Monday. He’s a fundamentally sound linebacker and a good leader who was selected a team captain this year. There’s an athleticism and tangibles ceiling that’s pretty obvious; think the opposite of Alec Ogletree. The question here might be formation and role...and I don’t have an answer to that question at all until we hear from new Rams Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips.

Bucknell OT Julie'n Davenport

Yeah, I don’t know much about Bucknell football. Sorry.
