The Rams made a bold move in hiring Sean McVay, the youngest NFL Head Coach in NFL History. Earlier in the week, it was reported that Les Snead was in a “tenuous” position, perhaps picking a candidate that would bring his own demise with the Rams organization.
Now it looks as with the hiring of McVay, and the rumors of Wade Phillips potentially joining him, Snead has brought together some very strong candidates, perhaps saving his own job in the process:
Can confirm that #Rams GM Les Snead will retain his position with the club

Under the previous regime with Jeff Fisher, it was rumored that Jeff Fisher had true final authority to make personnel decisions. With a young head coach, experienced coordinators coming into the fold, and lack of first round pick upcoming for Snead, it’ll be a challenge for him to bring talent to the Rams.
The Rams can put the Snisher era behind them and look forward to many successful years of winning with McSnead.
