Here we go. Los Angeles Rams football begin again in earnest on Monday Night Football to open the 2016 season against the San Francisco 49ers.
While it sounds like #1 overall pick and franchise rookie third-string QB Jared Goff will be inactive as Sean Mannion backs up starter Case Keenum, the Rams might see a more severe impact from injuries. The WR corps and the offensive line are the prominent immediate victims.
Meanwhile, it’s the first full-length feature for the first Rams defense without MLB James Laurinaitis and DE Chris Long (to say nothing of CB Janoris Jenkins or FS Rodney McLeod) in a long, long time.
