How did the Rams’ rookies fare in Week 3?

NFL: Los Angeles Rams-OTA Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Its Rookie Report time!

In case y’all missed the week 2 rookie report, don’t trip it is right here.

Here is this week’s look at the Rams’ first year players.

QB Jared Goff

The No. 1 overall pick was once again the No. 2 quarterback on the depth chart.

TE Tyler Higbee

The fourth-round tight end still has not seen much action go his way. He was flagged for a penalty down around the red zone.

Ty’ Hig’ is getting in his playing time. The rookie TE snagged 21 snaps (roughly 32% of the offensive snaps)

WR Pharoh Cooper

Pharoh Cooper practiced in a limited fashion in preparation fir week 3 but he was inactive – in street clothes – at Tampa Bay.

TE Temarrick Hemingway

Same thing as last week, bruh.

As a matter of fact, Hemingway’s name was absent on the snap totals. Even on special teams. Guess Temarrick was a healthy scratch.

LB Josh Forrest

Josh Forrest started the first game of his rookie season in week two of the 2016 season. This week, Josh followed it up with another 12 snap cameo on the team’s base 4-3 defense.

WR Michael Thomas

Mike started at the bottom of the depth chart but for sure is steadily climbing up.

This week the former Southern Miss receiver took part in 12-percent of the offensive snaps (eight snaps in total).

Thomas was targeted once by Case Keenum on a short out route but he was in civerage and the pass went incomplete.
