Rams-Seahawks Inactives: Jared Goff Replaces Sean Mannion As Backup QB

The Los Angeles Rams have a new backup QB in Jared Goff who replaces Sean Mannion against the Seattle Seahawks today. Here are the Rams’ inactives:

• WR Pharoh Cooper
• CB EJ Gaines
• DL Matt Longacre
• QB Sean Mannion
• OT Pace Murphy
• WR Nelson Spruce
• CB Steve Williams

Gaines and Spruce were “Out” on the final injury report while Cooper was “Doubtful”, so no huge surprises there. Really, the whole thing is no surprise as it matches last week’s inactive list save for the Goff/Mannion swap which Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher had already announced anyway.

As for that swap, here’s NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport on some...well, confusing info:
