LA Rams Vs. Seattle Seahawks: Live Open Thread

The NFL returns to Los Angeles.

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

A moment for the big picture. NFL football, Rams football is back in Los Angeles.

In three years when the Rams move into their new stadium in Inglewood, the result of today's game won't matter. Ten years from now when "Los Angeles Rams" football is no longer the unsavory product it is today, the result of today's game won't matter.

The only thing that will matter is the celebration of the return of NFL football to Los Angeles, the return of the Rams.

Until then...this is all we've got. An embarrassed Rams team on Monday night seeking redemption at home. It's somewhat fitting the Rams' manhandling came at the hands of division rival San Francisco 49ers and now have a chance to undo some of that humiliation against division rival Seattle Seahawks.

A generation from now, moms and dads may tell their daughters and sons where they were when the Rams came home.

Today, they're just hoping the Rams get a win.
