Even when you consider the thoroughness of this beat down, you have to give the Rams DBs some props here. They held Gabbert to a pretty pedestrian 63% completion percentage, 170 yards, and an 84.2 rating.

Throw in that T.J. McDonald (4), Coty Sensabaugh, and Lamarcus Joyner combined for 6 tackles for a loss and the secondary alleviated some of the concerns Rams fans had about the rebuild secondary.

Bear in mind that it was only the 49ers though. They'll get a much stiffer test next week vs the Seahawks.

This was a disaster. I expected the Rams to dominate this matchup, but that obviously didn't happen. This unit needs to start producing. #SackCity was a bust a few years ago. Let's keep #MobSquad from dying too, fellas.
