Today’s practice is probably the second most interesting Rams-related activity tonight with the season premier of Hard Knocks debuting in a few hours.
Injury Updates
CB E.J. Gaines and RT Rob Havenstein are still your two Rams on the unofficial non-existent injury report.
Jared Goff
With NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reporting that there’s a “real chance” Case Keenum is the Week 1 starter, we’ll have to see how things progress in this QB battle. Rapoport also reported that Goff could “change minds” in his preseason action, so who knows.
There’s just no way to justify your #1 overall draft pick not starting Week 1 especially when the other option is Case Keenum.
Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that.
Offensive Development
Eager to see how things play out heading into the season opener. It’s only going to take one big preseason performance to vault a rookie WR or TE into prominence.
Defensive Adjustment
Hard to buy a ton from the game release depth chart that had T.J. McDonald layered out. The big question right now is with Gaines sidelined, how to do you stack up the CBs in his absence?
