The Rams are back at it again today before a day off tomorrow.

Injury Updates

We got a bit of a scare yesterday with rookie WR Pharoh Cooper picking up a quad injury. And the reminder of the profundity at play here came out of Dallas as Cowboys backup QB Kellen Moore broke his ankle perhaps opening the door to put a star on Nick Foles’ helmet.

Reports were more positive yesterday, though the miscued snap issue is picking up steam. Again, that’s part of what training camp and the preseason is for — to iron out issues like that.

Still, he has yet to really put it all together. And from the sounds of it, training camp attendees are starting to get...restless.

Offensive Development

We’ve got the first wave of strong rookie reporting. Duke Williams! Tyler Higbee! The question is if we see this repeated.

It’s not gonna take much for the fans to start aligning behind the guys who are making big plays in the major roster battles. It’s why I posted these polls back in late June. When we revisit them ahead of, and between, the Rams’ four preseason games, we’re gonna see the movement behind certain candidates based on these reports as well as a couple of memorable plays from the second halves of games.
