TE Tyler Higbee
The hype train for Higbee started to pick up after the 'family day' scrimmage the Rams held last week.
"Tyler (Higbee) has the potential to play very, very early for us and be a big time part of our offense." - Fisher on rookie TE Tyler Higbee

Though this next one baffles me. It's pretty easy to identify Higbee as Jared Cook's replacement in the offense. Did we once hear Jeff Fisher mention Cook's poor blocking?
Fisher says Tyler Higbee has the qualities needed to play in the open field, needs to continue working on blocking. pic.twitter.com/0rpn6GafkV

LITTLE BABY GRONK. Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski has averaged 63 receptions, 926 yards, and 11 TDs in his career. I'd be happy Higbee can give the Rams HALF of those numbers as a rookie - which would coincidentally put him in discussion as the Rams best receiver.
Asked about standout rooks, Todd Gurley namechecks Nelson Spruce, reveals he calls Tyler Higbee "Little Baby Gronk." pic.twitter.com/M1lyUtuI5d

I love the way this sounds, but didn't we hear this about every big body that has been brought in the past 4 years?
Doesn't take much imagination to see Tyler Higbee as a major red-zone target for Rams this season.

He's not going to be polished, but he's the matchup nightmare that can win with athleticism alone.
Tyler Higbee might not be polished yet, but I’m becoming more of a believer each practice. He’s a matchup nightmare.

WR Nelson Spruce
Nelson Spruce got those 's

Stop comparing Nelson Spruce to Danny Amendola. Spruce is better.

Nelson Spruce is going to be the next Wes Welker just you wait.

Well that escalated quickly... Andrew Siciliano trying to ground people, but sees the fit just like everyone else.
Let’s not anoint Nelson Spruce yet, but the Rams have desperately needed a WR who could make plays on 3rd down the last few years.

Spruce was banged up in his first preseason game, but Jeff Fisher wasn't concerned. For some reason I'm hesitant to trust coach's opinion with knee injuries.
Nelson Spruce will get X-rays on his knee. Apparently felt sore, but looked pretty happy walking off the field earlier.

Fisher said Nelson Spruce went for X-rays but Fisher didn’t think problem was serious. Goff hurt non throwing shoulder.

Somewhere in LA, Jared Goff is smiling (and icing his non-throwing shoulder I hope)
