LA Times’ Sam Farmer is reporting that Case Keenum will get the early snaps for the Los Angeles Rams in their preseason opener against the Dallas Cowboys followed by Jared Goff through the third quarter:
Hearing we will see Case Keenum for about 15 snaps for Tams tomorrow, then Jared Goff through the third quarter.

It’s a good first opportunity to break out the visual measuring stick to gauge both’s readiness for the 2016 season.
Keenum was firmly in the backup slot throughout last year’s preseason and through the first nine regular season contests. This is his first run through the Rams’ August schedule as the starter since last week as confirmed by Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher.
As for Goff, let’s bear in mind he’s working with the backups. That means backup wideouts and tight ends, the backup offensive linemen...and working against a backup defense. That’s not to say anything positive or negative. That’s just the reality similar to what 2016 NFL Draft #2 overall pick, Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz, dealt with last evening in their preseason opener.
In any case, it’s time to get ready.
2016 Los Angeles Rams football is nearly upon us.
