D'haquille 'Duke' Williams was once at the top of the WR class of 2016. He's big, knows how to use his size, and has reliable hands. But his character concerns dropped him from a potential 1st round pick to tumbling all the way out of the draft.
He tried out with the Los Angeles Rams during their Rookie minicamp and did enough to earn a spot on the roster. But he will have to repeat that feat in camp to beat out all the other promising WRs the Rams have in camp - and that don't have the red flags that he carries.
Roster Battle
It's going to be an intense battle at the tail end of the WR depth chart. If Williams can outplay his fellow UDFA WRs and make it through the first round of cuts, he will likely be competing with draftees Pharoh Cooper and Michael Thomas along with veterans Bradley Marquez and Brian Quick for the final spot on the depth chart.
Expectations
1) Don't fuck up - you won't get many chances in the NFL.
2) Show the coaching staff that you can still ball out.
Chances of Making Final Roster (5.5/10)
He has the size and the talent, but a lackluster senior season at Auburn cost him a shot at being drafted. EddieP has Thomas at 7/10, which I think is pretty accurate. I'd put Williams' chances slightly better than the 5/10 that QBKlass gave Nelson Spruce.
