Less than four hours ago, we passed on the news that the Los Angeles Rams were working out former New England Patriots and 2014 NFL Draft first-round pick out of Florida DL Dominique Easley.
Now, he's under contract as the newest Ram:
Rams reached agreement on a 1-year deal with former Patriots DT Dominique Easley, per source.

Rams D-line now includes five former 1st-round picks: Aaron Donald, Michael Brockers, Robert Quinn, Quinton Coples, Dominique Easley.

And while Schefter notes the current first-round selections on the line, he didn't include recent former Rams defensive linemen who were first-rounders in Chris Long (now with the Patriots after being drafted by the Rams with the #2 overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft) and Nick Fairley (a 2015 St. Louis Ram after being selected by the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft and now signed to the New Orleans Saints).
All that being said, Easley's an interesting signing with a ton of upside. The question is if he can shed the off-field concerns raised as he exited New England.
Onward. Upward?
