The Rams have taken South Carolina St. TE Temarrick Hemingway with the 177th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the first of three sixth-round selections the Rams have.

This pick, one they picked up from the big trade with the Tennessee Titans to move up to #1 overall to select Cal QB Jared Goff, adds the third target for Goff in as many picks since. Clearly, the Rams are spending this draft upgrading the worst offense in the NFL in 2015 in yards gained.

Here's how the major draft sites see Hemingway:

CBS Sports 9 179

Hemingway's an athletic, downfield target who gives them the upside to replace Jared Cook's athleticism on the roster.

With two picks left in the Rams' draft class, there's still opportunity to improve the roster...and perhaps to continue to feed new blood into the new Rams offense for 2016.
