Aaron Wilson, of the Houston Chronicle and formerly of the Baltimore Sun, is reporting the Los Angeles Rams along with six other teams are "expressing interest" in New Mexico St. CB Winston Rose:
Colts, 49ers, Rams, Jets, Jaguars, Eagles, Texans expressing interest in New Mexico St. corner Winston Rose as potential Day 3 draft pick

This one seems awfully smoky.
Unlike recent reports that had the Rams hosting specific prospects on visits, like MTSU S Kevin Byard (story), Ohio St. S Vonn Bell (story), Ohio St. WR Michael Thomas (story) or San Jose St. RB Tyler Ervin (story), this one just cites... well, "interest." And not only that, it's "interest" shared among the Indianapolis Colts, San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans and the Rams, so it's not much exclusivity to this.
Thin speculation as it is, Rose is listed as the 65th-best CB per CBS and the 73rd cornerback by ESPN.
The Rams' offseason has had a huge impact on the CB depth chart. First, the Rams used the franchise tag on CB Trumaine Johnson. That freed up CB Janoris Jenkins to hit free agency, and hit it he did signing with the New York Giants on a five-year, $62m deal. The Rams then quickly turned to address that hole by signing former Tennessee Titans CB Coty Sensabaugh.
The 2016 NFL Draft needs to hurry the hell up already.
