The Los Angeles Rams just pulled off a behemoth of a trade to nab the first overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft from the Tennessee Titans.
In doing so, they've gone nearly all in over the next two drafts for whomever they select with that top pick. According to earliest reporting, it sounds like that could be North Dakota State QB Carson Wentz:
Rams have traded with Tennessee for the top pick in the draft -- Carson Wentz is the presumed target.

Rams are taking a QB with No. 1 pick. I believe they're leaning toward Carson Wentz, but Jared Goff heavily in mix too. This gives them time

#Rams source says Wentz.

I love draft season.
#Rams source says Wentz is the pick. Said decision was made awhile ago. Said trade haggling took awhile.

Quick text poll off NFL front office guys has eight saying the #Rams moved up for Wentz, one saying Goff.

A few weeks ago, the #Rams worked out #NDSU QB Carson Wentz, source said. LA doing research on the top QBs, as well.
