Arrest Warrant Issued For LA Rams RB Tre Mason

TMZ is reporting the Rams' backup running back has had a warrant issued after failing to appear in court for a March incident.

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

TMZ is reporting that a Broward County court in Florida has issued an arrest warrant for Los Angeles Rams running back Tre Mason for failing to appear in court following his arrest in early March:

A rep for the Broward County Courts confirms ... Mason was due to appear in court on Monday to be arraigned for his March 5th arrest -- when he was popped for weed possession, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

Now, the judge has issued a warrant for his arrest -- and when he is taken into custody, his bond will be set at $1,500 ... court officials tell us.

The original incident made headlines when police used a taser to subdue Mason following which he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Mason is headed into his third year with the Rams after being drafted in the third round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
