On Thursday, we got word that the Los Angeles Rams would be meeting with Ohio State Buckeyes S Vonn Bell this week. Today, we've got another safety reportedly heading to meet with the team tomorrow:
Middle Tennessee St. safety Kevin Byard.
#MTSU DB Kevin Byard, non-Combine invitee, has another week of visits: #AZCardinals today, #Rams Tues, #Saints after that, then #Bengals.

Like Akron LB Jatavis Brown who we heard on Friday has visited the Rams himself, Byard was on my list of snubs from the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine where I had him pegged as perhaps the first snub to get drafted:
Holds the MTSU school record for interceptions with 19 with plenty of starting experience. Might be the prospect on this list taken earliest in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Byard's the seventh-best SS per CBS and the 15th safety by ESPN. He's a well-rounded athlete who played quarterback, wide receiver, linebacker, cornerback and safety in high school. No, seriously.
The meetings with Bell and Byard help lend some credence to the idea that the Rams could stack up at safety in the 2016 NFL Draft as suggested by Mocking the Draft's Dan Kadar who had the Rams going safety in the second and third round in today's mock draft.
