Are the Rams good enough to make the playoffs this year?

I have watched so much film, I think I need glasses. With everything about the draft and the who, when and what the Rams may or may not do. The one thing that keeps rattling around my pea brain is, if we draft the guys fisher wants this year, have we been built these last 4 years well enough for us to make the playoffs this year?

In looking at game film of last year, I saw some really good things from our team. The offense perked up some when fisher changed oc's. The offensive line played pretty good considering a bunch of freshman were manning some of the positions. Our running game was not as good as I hoped. Don't get your panties in a twist, I am thinking of Mason and not Gurley. I thought that Mason under performed in my expectations for him. Our defense was effective for the most part given they were asked to carry the load so to speak. I think they are good enough (even with the loss of our db's, mlb and de) to take a team to the playoffs.

Our offense needs upgrading, I know, this is nothing new, the same old stuff. But, really if we were just ordinary as an offensive unit do we make the jump from losers to the playoffs?

If we do make the playoffs then fisher will have given us what we all hope for.

The question still begs to be answered, are we good enough now to make the playoffs?
