Los Angles Rams’ general manager Les Snead let it be known at the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine that retaining key defensive players was the team’s top priority. Unfortunately, the business aspect of football often gets in the way, and the team lost corner Janoris Jenkins and safety Rodney McLeod in free agency earlier today.

Terms of the deal have yet to be released, but it appears as though Davis, one of the Rams' undrafted free agents from 2013, could be McLeod’s replacement.
Obviously there’s still a lot of time left in free agency and the NFL Draft for the team to bolster certain positions on the roster, but retaining Davis - who played in all 16 games last season - is a start.
